The Misfit Toy Car club driver certification program to identify drivers that exhibit essential track knowledge, behavior, and driving skills to advance themselves into higher group levels (which consist of advanced track dynamics). This driver certification program demonstrates knowledge and skills from the following: 

Classroom sessions: 

• Safety and awareness 

• Flags and flag stations 

• General track driving skills 

• Driving lines  

• Proper braking and acceleration while turning 

• Passing, passing zones, and etiquette  

Driving sessions and Instructor observation: 

• Track sessions and seat time 

• Track configurations  

• 1.6 Mile 

• 2.0 Mile 

• Banked oval dynamics 

• High Speed NASCAR straight with possible speeds exceeding 160 MPH 

• High Speed Braking 

• Brake fade (Safety exits)
